All fabrics are 100% cotton.
The fabrics used in our range are sourced primarily from West Africa – Guinea, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Ghana.
The bright and vivid colours and designs of wax print fabric that are so popular in West Africa are now manufactured by textile mills all over the world.
Some fabric is produced in African textile factories, some in European and Asian textile mills.
Typically, wax print fabric is produced with the African market firmly in mind. We have sourced fabric internationally to bring to Australia a taste of African culture and dress.
Wherever possible, we buy direct from the West African producers and retailers to support African business.
